Lettering Domain

Manga lettering is an activity I learned and still pratice at a professional level. I do offer here my services as an experienced letterer.

As the main letterer in Komikku Éditions, I worked as a full-time member of the team for approx. 4 years, from 2016 to 2020.

During this time frame, I lettered more than 200 manga volumes from the editiorial catalog, with efficiency and precision.
I was also tasked with lettering the first volumes of any new series, with the creative and character font selection involved.

In possession of the JLPT N2 certificate in Japanese language proficiency, I can check the translation quality during the lettering process. English language suggestions can also be part of it.

The inner book lettering can also be completed with work on the cover.

Beyond manga, I also lettered books with more complex layouts, such as guidebooks and mini encyclopaedias.

Lettering Portfolio

I worked on most Komikku Editions titles since 2016, starting with the first book of "Somali and the Forest Spirit".
The lettering process I followed is expansive and includes the book layout creation, the cleaning process, the lettering itself and the complete graphic adaptation of onomatopoeia and visual elements inside the book.
